Build the electric heat trace scope review record
Start with plumbing and mechanical plans, piping schedules, heat trace diagrams, details, and electrical panel information. Record the service, pipe size, route, exposure, circuit reference, thermostat or sensor, and stated design condition. Mark undocumented routing as a clarification.

Check quantities and scope boundaries
Measure trace cable from the approved basis and count connection kits, end seals, tees, controllers, sensors, junction boxes, warning labels, and power feeds shown. Keep insulation removal and replacement visible instead of burying it in cable labor.

Reconcile the package before release
Reconcile heat-traced runs with piping, valves, drains, roof conditions, insulation, controls, and distribution capacity. Assign design, startup, testing, and final settings to the documented parties without treating a supplier allowance as a completed design. Record unresolved assignments in the mep scope interface matrix and preserve the approved disposition with the estimate revision.
